At Otter Chaos Games, we’re dedicated to fostering vibrant communities within game stores and anywhere groups of gamers come together for fun and camaraderie. Our mission is to create adventures that are both effortless for Dungeon Masters (DMs) to run and utterly compelling for players to play.
On gameday DMs receive the latest adventure, complete with individual sheets for each Non-Player Character (NPC) and new creatures. We provide them with table assignments, checklists, and advice to ensure a seamless start to the party.
Encounters are presented on 11×17 sheets, containing all necessary information. Each encounter includes:
- DM Context: Essential background information not immediately known to players.
- Box Text: The initial scene players perceive.
- Encounter Notes: Guidance on running the encounter, including adjudication for common spells and class abilities. Our Box Text leverages multiple DMs, allowing for dynamic NPC discussions rather than typical exposition dumps.
The Head DM has access to a suite of resources for each act, including videos, background music, recorded performances, sound effects, and imagery. Additionally, interactive apps track adventurer progress throughout the encounter.
